2. Request for donation of obsolete computers

Dear freinds, I have a request from Mrs Shashi Sagar of Lioness Club for obsolete (working) computers for donation to schools for underpreviliged children.

If you have some obsolete computers lying in your organisation, they probably could be put to some good use. A P1, P2 or P3 with a 2 gb hard disk, 14"/15" monitor and 64 MB ram lan, card/modem would suffice. they need four computers. The acknowledgement will will be made in your/your organisations name with appropriate markings on the computers.

I think it is a noble cause and our junk could be of good use to the kids. As my input I could fix and test the computers for donation. In case you donot have any please forward the mail to your friends who might have junk lying around. I dont know if these donations would qualify for exemptions under the IT act. I think it is a good opportunity for charity.

Best Regards

Anil Bansala
