1. Prof. Subhash Chand appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer

The Chairman, Board of Governors in exercise of his powers, in terms of BG/43/88 is pleased to appoint Prof.

Subhash Chand of the Department of Bio-chemical Engineering and Biotechnology as Chief Vigilance Officer of

the Institute with effect from the date he takes over charge from Prof. V.Seshadri. He will perform the duties of the Chief Vigilance officer in addition to his normal duties.

Prof. Subhash Chand, as Chief Vigilance Officer will be extended the facilities, such as honorarium and

license-fee free unfurnished accommodation etc. in the Campus at par with the Deans.

2. Dr. (Ms.) Ravinder Kaur, Associate Prof. nominated in Planning Commission and India Council for Social Science.

2. Dr.(Ms.) Ravinder Kaur, Associate Professor, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, has been nominated

as member of the following two committees:

1. Planning Commission Committee on Strengthening “Monitoring and Evaluation System for the Social

Sector Schemes in the Central Ministries for Central/Centrally Sponsored/State Plan Schemes/Projects/Programmes” during the Eleventh Five Year Plan (2007-2012).

2. Indian Council for Social Science Research, Advisory Committee to formulate Policy guidelines as well

to evaluate proposals received for financial support under the scheme to provide assistance to academic

bodies and research institutions to organize seminars/conferences and workshops in India.
