2. Pearl Reunion 2007

Dear Alumnus,
Greetings from IIT Delhi.
On behalf of the students, faculty and staff of IIT Delhi, I am pleased to extend a warm invitation to you and your spouse to attend Pearl Reunion 2007.
As you are aware, Silver Reunions are organized annually for the Alumni by IITD Alumni Association and these are hosted by IIT Delhi. Alumni visit the campus after 25 years and see the changes that have occurred over the years, and re-live their experiences.
In 2005, IIT Delhi started the tradition of holding Pearl Reunions - reunions after 35 years of passing out. The first Pearl Reunion was organized for the batches of 1965 to 69 and now the second one will be held on March 11th & 12th , 2007 (Sunday afternoon till Monday evening) for the batches of 1970 and 71.
A preliminary programme is attached. The programme is so designed that you will witness the radiance of student energy at the Students Week on March 11th (Sunday) and the hustle – bustle of the laboratories / classrooms on March 12th (Monday). It is interspersed with a panel discussion, invited talks, interaction with students and faculty and a feedback workshop.
IIT Delhi will host the stay of outstation and overseas guests in the Faculty Guest House. Outstation Alumni are requested to book their journeys so as to arrive at IIT Delhi on 11th forenoon and leave on 12th by 6.00 p.m. (book early for apex air fares!). To our overseas Alumni, a special message - the Pearl Reunion is 12 weeks away; yes it is difficult to make travel plans at short notice but do join, if you can.
